3. Disney’s Star Wars hotel. The HYPE has begun.

I took this pic below during March 2018 trip ( prior to Miami ) at the Hollywood Studios of Disney World in Orlando Florida, I just knew something astronomically big was about to unfold.

When I read about this in the media last year I emailed The Disney Concierge that organised our park tickets and found out that its only coming up in 2019. Sure enough here we are at the end of 2018 and I don’t think I have ever seen such HYPE for a hotel, the last I saw this much excitement would have been Atlantis the Palm, Dubai opening about a decade ago.

This HYPE is so big that USA based travel bloggers have gone to extraordinary lengths to publish plans, engineer permits and project drawings that they obtained from the Florida Municipalities and Departments of Environmental Protection.. I have truly never seen this happen before. 

Its a fairly small hotel with 600 rooms and rates will prob cost as one commentator put it ‘cost a kidney’ however the blessings of miles and points should be able to offset this.

I can vouch the very best theme ride ever experienced was the Disney World Hong Kong’s Hyper Space Mountain one during July/August 2018. I’m sure they will have similar if not better ones at the Disney Galaxy Edge in Orlando.

Check into a Star Wars themed hotel that will take the shape of a different planet far far away complete with droids, light sabers and intergalactic rides.
