Every newsletter will now feature a subscriber feedback at the beginning.
1) Changes to TraveLoyalty.
TraveLoyalty’s world exclusive packages will ALL go dollar rated (USD) from February 1st, 2016.
traveloyalty.co.za has been merged into traveloyalty.com and will be universal, not only for SA passport holders to enjoy but for all nationalities to go elite, instantly.
If you have your heart set on travel now is the time to get the royal treatment at the lowest price.
2) What’s the big deal / value in elite membership?
I can’t stress or talk about the perks enough and the HUGE savings it brings. Never mind the suite upgrades and huge living space.

My 1 Bedroom Suite booked FREE on the lowest point redemption promo, TL advertises this first in the world. Booked a total of 34 nights. This suite is worth R5000 per night.
Bulk of subscribers following TraveLoyalty posts were able to book 20 nights FREE, all by doing a 4 night challenge with a spend of R2800 during the year. Even if you do not have the points you could buy / manufacture the points needed for a free night to the tune of $28 – $35 respectively. Still excellent value despite the weakest Rand ever.
I’m currently abroad on a month and half stay through various hotels, ALL on points blended with elite status.
Today marks week 2 of the trip, I haven’t used any money yet. Perks of complimentary lounge access ensures a decent breakfast, high tea and hot snacks being served in a private lounge with personalised attention.
Venturing out in the city markets today I am shocked to see what value the Rand has, glass of freshly squized orange juice: R68.50 and one medium scoop of Baskin Robins ice cream: R44.30 ( hey that’s a 2l tub of Ola Rich and creamy at Spar back home..). Travel with a family and these numbers escalate drastically each day. I can’t imagine the state of SA people’s wallets that are travelling to more expensive countries like Europe on hard cash ( and no rebate when checking out which is even more crazy ).
Elite status has pretty much been giving unlimited fresh orange juice ALL day + the hotel has given a 3scoop complimentary ice cream voucher on arrival. Strawberry was the flavour of preference.

The Ultimate Guide to getting UPgrades.
R5000 upgrades is not bad value, the holy grail of upgrades to mammoth suites that run R30,000 + per night is not uncommon, I should have a few more of this value on my trip reports come New Year. Stay tuned.
The Rand was terrible at 10.00 to the $ but at 16.00 it’s just ridiculous.
Remember booking direct and earning loyalty points that are USD based makes travel easier for future free trips. Blend this with elite statuses and the points magnify with promotions.
There is no reason to break your back working 50% harder in order to get that one trip in when you can do it smart, for less and travel four times + per year.
GO ELITE. It’s the future of travel.
The most wise way to go on holiday is to have your spend as an investment with plenty to show and use for after check-out. All other travellers get nothing on check-out. Travel wisely. Travel the TraveLoyalty way.
