Nestled on the Red Sea of Egypt, Hurgada is the first major city stop travelling south bound along the coast. The cities of Safaga, Quesir and Marsa Alam follows on the route, each with their own magical branded resorts with perks galore in-store for elites.
How to get there ?
You could fly in with Egypt Air as a pricey option or rent a shuttle. Fuel is cheap in Egypt and every businessman loves to haggle so touring on road throughout can be a real bargain.
I cant believe the amount of resorts and developments in the works on both sides of the highway when entering the Red Sea coastline. This must be a serious tourist destination to attract this enormous scale of investments that stretches on and on.
Where to stay ?
I chose Hilton Long Beach from my second night on this stretch. Its a AI – All inclusive resort.
Read Hurgada part one HERE.
Hilton Hurgada Long Beach.
The booking proof.
The suite upgrade.
Double balconies, 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, all inclusive, this resort has major value surprisingly for cash rates.
The breakfast.
I arrived just in time before the close of lunch and soon after it was supper, come morning I only managed to take 2 breakfast pix. Its not often I go through 3 full meals at their full courses per day during travels, the of the amount of food one has access to here is unbelievable for the price paid.
The lunch.
The varieties are huge, almost on a Atlantis scale. This was my choices:
The complimentary gourmet supper.
Exploring the surroundings.
The jetty at the back has a interesting and popular diving / snorkel spot, its as clear as Sharm El Shaik ( read the trip HERE ) but its also a degree or 2 colder here in spite of being lower south and closer to the equator.
